Pond Cottage dates back to 1711
a gem of a place nestled into the rolling, Kentish countryside with nothing but fields, orchards and the hint of an oasthouse in sight
a retreat to be savoured in an area of outstanding natural beauty
you can enjoy stunning views to the front of the house overlooking a large tract of meadow and a natural pond - wildlife is abundant particularly the feathered variety - wrens, finches, tits, magpies, moorhens, mallards, pheasants and woodpeckers frequent the garden throughout most of the year
the dining room is located very close to your room, this is where you will eat and can enjoy an open fire, games and a choice of books to read
whilst your bedroom offers you an en suite shower we are happy for you to use the private bathroom, complete with roll top bath and magnificent views, if arranged in advance
wheelchair access is possible - Pond Cottage is a non-smoking house - unfortunately we do not accept children or pets as guests
